Dealbreaker is a compatibility app that helps users build a personal compatibility profile and compare answers with other users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

We may collect and process the following information when you use Dealbreaker:

• Account details such as your email address, username and optional mobile number.
• Onboarding answers such as your selected preferences and what you are looking for.
• Compatibility profile answers and scores you provide in the app.
• Compatibility session answers, match requests and result data.
• Optional profile photo or avatar information.
• Basic technical and analytics data to help us understand app usage and improve reliability.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Build your compatibility profile.
• Calculate profile scores, confidence scores and compatibility results.
• Show your profile to other users only when you choose to make it discoverable.
• Enable match requests and shared compatibility checks.
• Maintain app security, prevent misuse and improve the service.

3. Searchable profiles

Your profile is private by default. If you choose to make your profile discoverable, other authenticated users may be able to see limited profile information such as your username, avatar or approved profile photo, profile confidence and compatibility indicators.

4. Profile photos

If you upload a profile photo, it may be reviewed for moderation and safety. Photos may be shown to other users only where the app allows and in line with your profile visibility settings.

5. Data storage and service providers

Dealbreaker uses third-party service providers to operate the app, including hosting, authentication, database and email services. These providers process data only as needed to support the app.

6. Account deletion

You can request account deletion from within the app through Profile Settings. Deleting your account removes or disconnects your profile and app data where technically possible, subject to lawful or operational retention requirements.

7. Your choices

You can:

• Keep your profile private.
• Make your profile discoverable or private again from Profile Settings.
• Update your profile photo or avatar.
• Delete your account from within the app.
• Contact us about your personal data.

8. Children

Dealbreaker is not intended for children. Users must meet the minimum age requirements that apply in their location and app store rules.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
